This piece made me look pregnant. My husband didn't like it either.

I love the fabric and the bust fits well, but after the empire waist its too loose and feels as thought I'm wearing a maternity shirt. I plan to have it taken in slightly on the seams of each side, which may be difficult because it's silk. If i cannot have it taken in I'll just get a ribbon to tie around it. I would be very embarrassed if anybody asked me how far along I am. My friend said that that specific cut was just the style right now, I guess I never realized maternity wear would be a popular style/cut for those that aren't expecting.
