By Grrr from TEXAS on 08/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight Cons: Sleeves Too Short, Torso WAY too short Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful shirt, but it is so short! There is no way I could wear this to work (seriously - several inches above the belly button is exposed). A definite return. Blue Willi, what were you thinking?
By dreambeast from Illinois on 12/12/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have several items by Blue Willi. They're well made, comfortable and good looking, but generally rather staid. Whoever designed this shirt made an effort to give it style. Its shape is lovely. The embroidery and stitching along with the natural broadcloth create an effect that is both antique and contemporary. The front is closed with snaps except for one prominently placed shiny button that slips into a buttonhole of red thread. Not for everyone, perhaps, but perfect for me. I'll wear it with a a velvet skirt for going out, with slacks for work, with jeans on casual occasions.
Not up to usual high standards By Pollyanna from Evanston, IL on 12/12/2007 Cons: Poochy sleeve design, Sleeves Too Short, Stiff fabric Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Elbow darts are unflattering and uncomfortable. Looks much better in the picture.
