Comments: I got these to use when I walk my dogs and the snow is deep. They are truly a pleasure to have and make the going so much easier. Just wish the toe straps could be tighter on my boots..they move around a bit more than they should, and my feet aren't that small.
I picked the right year to buy snowshoes

Comments: We have over 5' of snow on the ground at our place this year and I couldn't get to the henhouse to feed the chickens without these--much less walk the dog. I bought the 22", since I am a smaller person and they are a more appropriate size for me. In very deep new snow they do sink in, but it's all fun to me. I can hike in them at almost summer speeds under most circumstances.

The best part about these? NO ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.
I bought them as a gift for my sister who had to give up skiing due to a bad hip. I was afraid upon giving them to her she'd need to purchase poles or special boots, etc. I could not have afforded add-ons, so it was great she didn't have to fork out more $$$ to use them.
My son gave me a pair as well --- we've just had a ball cruising around the neighborhood on them!
And the people in Sierra's call center are awesome! It's just been a very pleasant experience overall.
