excellent and mysterious boot By Sam from Boston, MA on 01/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Light weight, Sharp, Stain Resistant, Warm Describe Yourself: Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Possibly the best winter boots I've worn as an adult. To me, shearling feels warmer and more breathable than the fancy synthetic materials and by the standards of warm winter boots these look good. They come with a pamphlet from Canadienne saying that the leather has been treated and requires no waterproofing. I am taking their word for that. The sizing feels true. I don't know about longevity, because I just started wearing them, but for a warm winter boot they are remarkably light. These boots are also a bit mysterious. I can't find men's boots by Canadienne anywhere else, not even at the Canadienne website, so go figure.
Fairly stylish boots with good traction By VermontGal from Montpelier, VT on 01/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good traction, Stable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Around town, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel, Vermont "formal", Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Outdoorsy, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice quality boot, waterproof with good traction. Size 7 Mens seems to fit well, although they may actually be a bit narrow for men with wider feet. They are stylish enough for me to wear them to Vermont "formal" events - we are not a very formal place in the winter! They are a bit clunkier looking than most women's boots, but it is worth it for the traction. [...]
