Great wading boot, would buy again By Pete from Arizona on 08/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderful fit. The studded felt soles that are optional with this shoe are a must for algae covered river cobbles. Just got back from the SanJuan River, and could not be happier with this shoe.
By Fly Guy from Manchester,NH on 08/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Versatile Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for their versatility. The trail soles keep you from wearing out felt soles on long hikes in and work fine on sand and gravel. In addition you can buy the rubber studded soles from Korkers eliminating the need for seperate studded sandals required for early spring fishing. Allthough not the lightest wading boot they are actually more comfortable to walk in than my light weight wading boots. Bottom line, the versatiliy and comfort more than make up for them being on the heavy side.
Korkers - just what I was looking for! By Wispern from Sydney, AUSTRALIA. on 08/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Anyone thinking of fishing in New Zealand from 1 October 2008 will need to swap the felt soles for rubber - felt soles will be banned from 1 October. This is the reason I have gone for the Korkers Outfitters, my other boots all have felt soles, but I now have boots that allow me to swap the soles as required. To give more grip in the water I also purchased a pair of the Studded Aquastealth soles. The boots themselves are great, more like a hiking boot, in fact feel a lot like my more expensive wading boots. I also bought a pair of Wetlands for my girlfriend and she loves them. Good boots at a good price - great stuff!
