Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: The ankle was so narrow I had trouble getting my feet into them, and the toe was too roomy. My daughter (with feet the right size for the toe box) could barely get them on. Sent them back.

Comments: I went up to the Northern Central part of Wisconsin on the coldest days of Feb. 2008. These boots kept me very warm for being outside for 5 hours a day in 10 below and under conditions.
Great boot for the price!
