Add ice grippers for black ice areas. Lace tightly for prolonged walking.

My feet stayed warm. My only complaint would be that the top of the boot does not "cinch" tight enough and is loose. So if I was in deep snow conditions, I probably will wear my gators.

But, I did need to be prepared with boots that I could use in the snow and for snowshoeing. I am hoping these will work ok. They are nothing special and rather inflexible and do not have any fleece to make them czy.
