Warm, but could be warmer
By DLP from Grand Canyon North Rim on 2/6/2008
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof
Cons:
Not as warm as could be
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: As the manufacturer states they are warm to the comfort rating stated as long as you are active. If you're working in sub-freezing temps and not moving much cold does begin to seep through the bottom. I solve this by adding wool felt insoles, which easily increases the comfort rating by at least 10-15 degrees. Would certainly recommend these with the above caveat.
