Comments: This boot is great for above tree line mountaineering. Very warm and comfortable. perfect for when the crampons are needed.

Comments: I made the mistake of breaking these in on the trail up to the Inter Glacier (Mt. Rainier). I have weak heel skin to begin with so I was prepared wearing duck tape and liner socks. I still blistered. But... Once I got on the snow, these things were great! I would suggest a long, slow break in period for these boots.
