Nice Construction- MH Quality By Rwuff from Loveland,CO on 06/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice jacket, typical Mtn Harware. Primaloft seems to be mainly in the arms with a fury fleece type of lining through the body. For very cold weather you'd probably want another fleece layer. Expect more of a early winter/later spring weight. Plenty of pockets, detachable hood. Another reviewer questioned the front length but this one is only 1" shorter than my main ski jacket (Cloudveil ZeroG) so I'll give it a try.
By Mountain Man from Fort Collins, CO on 06/05/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Short at back, Shorter in Front Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Skiing and snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is perfectly made with all the bells and whistles you could ask for, however, it is entirely too short. I got an XL thinking that might help, it did not. I am 6'2" and thought it was just me, so i returned it and got the Mountain Hardwear Torque jacket instead (in my natural size, L). The Torque is the way to go if the Tonnerre was too short!!! If you have a short torso though, go with the Tonnerre!
