Great coat, really like it... By hunting, fishing, cooking... from St-Georges, Quebec, Canada on 09/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Hood, Lightweight, Many pockets, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Fishing, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the design, it's full of pockets. Waterproof membrane works well. The only little thing I would change on this coat is the lenght, it was specified as a wadding jacket, and it sure is. You better wear some bibs or wadding pants if you intend to use it as a rain coat. Bottom line: I would buy this again with no hesitation.
By mikesalmon from Nova Scotia, Canada on 08/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a chance to try the jacket. I am impressed with it. It is very good value. In cool weather you should probably wear something under it because I do not think it will keep you warm. The one complaint I have is that the wrist cuffs are not tight enough so when you reach in to tail a fish the water gets up inside and you get wet. I am 5'6" 170lbs. I ordered the large because I did not want to have to send it back if the medium was too small. I probably could have got away with a medium. However the large will allow to wear layers underneath to stay warm in the fall. Overall I think good value for the money. I will most likely order one for my step dad.
By Etamaman from Beaverton, OR on 08/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great. It has the full collar with the fleece which I like for those cold weather days. Also, the pockets are well designed for storing what you need for a day on the river steelheading. I like the close to the chest storage while casting a spey rod.
The only thing I could find bad.......it is not very "snagproof". What I mean by snagproof is walking through brush with thorns. It hangs up very easily on thorns...not like waders or my previous PVC wading jacket.
Other than that, I am very pleased.
