No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are warm and breathable. I didn't get stuck with the wet hand sweats with the Primaloft. The grips are great. However, the outer shell is pretty weak, barely stitched together. A seam ripped on me my first time cross country skiing in these. They might make nice driving gloves, but not for anything rugged.
