By alicia_vt from Vermont on 02/28/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Water Resistant Cons: gauntlet too short, Not Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought them for snowmobiling because the regular gloves for the sport are so bulky. These fit much better, but the tips of my fingers get a bit cold. Also the gauntlet is very short.
By Jody R. from Wausau, Wisconsin on 02/10/2008 Pros: Conforms easily to hands, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Freestyle, Mountain hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My fingers were always cold, no matter what the weather until I got these gloves. I was skeptical when I first opened the pkg because of the lack of thickness but the next day when I wore them hiking on the mountain trails I was convinced these gloves will do the trick. Until I got these gloves I was layering my handwear, really, I did! The day after I received the gloves we had -49 degree windchills here in Wisconsin and these were the only gloves I needed to wear.
Nice glove but a bit puffy By Outdoor girls likes to be warm from Santa Fe, NM on 01/05/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Cons: Poor Grip, Puffy, Too Bulky Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They are great but thicker then they appear online. They are not quite as thick, but close to ski style gloves so doing detail things with them is difficult. Also there is some sort of strange padding on the top area of your hand below your knuckles. Maybe for additional warmth? I also ordered a size medium as I wear about a 7-7.5 glove size and the medium did not fit so I exchanged for a large and the fit seems a little big but better then the medium size. Overall, I'm keeping these gloves because they seem like a good quality glove, they seem warm and are not quite as thick as ski gloves. Also there is nothing worse then having cold, wet hands when doing things outside in the winter and I believe these will do the trick!
