The color is a darker brown than appears in the catalog picture or online, very rich and beautiful. I bought this jacket in a size 6 and it fits more like an 8. Also, the shoulder pads are too large for my frame (5'5"). Best for someone a little taller who can carry off the shoulder pads. Love the overall look & quality; sad I can't keep it.
