IT HAS A WIRE ON THE EDGE TO HOLD THE BRIM OUT. IT IS VERY, VERY TIGHT -- AT LEAST 2 TO 3 SIZES TOO SMALL FOR A NORMAL WOMAN. I SENT IT BACK.
