No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: the product description indicated that the item was "insulated" and gave a weight in grams. i needed a jacket that could be worn in Pennsylvania winters not California winters. the description should have included a common-sense description of the insulative value of the garment for those of us who don't know how much insulation 40 grams of Thinsulate provides.
