Very warm and fashionable By katieinreno from Reno, NV on 04/16/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is spring and I just received the jacket. It looks cool...I got the green and the embroidery stitching is purple...and I like it! It very well fitted and slightly longer to keep the cold out from the bottom. It is VERY warm.
Wish I could have one in every color! By Survivor Girl from Michigan on 04/02/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket went beyond my expectations. It's lightweight and cozy warm. I love the trim fit also. It's great all by itself or can be worn as a mid-layer. I've gotten many complements on this jacket. Love it!
By Loves the Outdoors from Frederick, MD on 03/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a warm, technical jacket with some style that I could use for hiking and outdoor activities as well as for casual wear. I am very pleased with Mountain Hardwear's Flip Jacket. The weight to warmth ratio is excellent, has a comfortable, non-irritating collar where the jacket zips up and has a flattering fit. I usually wear a size 2-4, and having read the other reviews, knew that the sizing runs small. I ordered a size 6 and it was still too snug around the shoulders and chest area, so I exchanged it for a size 8 and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this jacket - you'll get lots of use out of it!
