No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The collar is doubled-over fabric making it much heavier than the rest of the garment. The neck seam is not finished nicely, just serged, so it was itchy to my sensitive neck skin. The zipper could be zipped all the way up to make it into a turtleneck, which would be good in a cold wind. However, for wearing open,I found the neck fabric too heavy and the unattractive seam showed. The body was nice, though.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought one in charcoal and one in navy. They are toasty and are wearing well. Definately worth every penny. I've seen no pilling under the arms as happens in cheaper sweaters even though I have worn them almost constantly since they arrived. I only wish that this sweater came in brown. I bought one of the button-up cardigans as well(in brown), but like the zipper better.
