On a 5'5'' frame the pants were about 4" too long (I was walking on them down to the soles of my feet). Bought these to keep me dry while hiking through the Amazon rainforest.This will be WAY too loud when trying to see animal life, and obnoxious for normal walking with loud swishing. Seems waterproof enough and definately light weight.

They kept me dry in the rain and have enough room to put extra pants underneath for warmth. Once the sun came out and the weather warmed up I was feeling good in the breathable material and did not feel the need to change into something lighter. I just wish they had an extra pocket but would still buy them again. Great value for money.
