By Laura from Denver, Colorado on 07/01/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this soft shell for my husband, who normally wears a large- but the sleeves were sooo long! We returned it for a medium, which hasn't come yet, but hopefully it will fit. It seems like a great coat, we'll see after 08-09 ski season, as my hubby tends to wear things out pretty easily!
By Average G from Ohio on 11/06/2007 Cons: Bulky, Hood visor misformed, No stretch, Stiff cuffs Describe Yourself: Outdoor Enthusiast Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend This jacket shows me the downside of our generation of "Plastic" jackets.
The hood visor is malformed, and you can't correct it. The cuffs are supposed to be flexible, but one is stiff as plastic and crooked, you can't get it to fit your wrist. I'm sorry to say Marmot design has gone downhill over the years. The anatomical designs they made 4+ years ago are gone .Angel wing movement replaced by tin-man movement....it just does not move -with- you . This jacket has no flex, no anatomical movement, malformed plastic cuffs and visor and is just no joy to wear.
By Cruiser from Littleton, Co on 10/14/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a well built jacket with tons of great features. The welded seams and laser cut pockets make this jacket virutally bullet proof.
