The colors are beautiful...the turquoise is brilliant and the brown--not gray, as it says in the description--complements well. The jacket is toasty, but it does run a bit small, especially through the hips. I am generally a size 6-8, and went with Medium. Still, the bottom edge of the jacket is tight around the hips. You feel a bit like the Stay Puff marshmallow man if you've got any thick sweater underneath. Best to layer lightly.
Went up for a bitterly cold day of skiing in Colorado last week, & didn't didn't feel a bit chilled. It's not just a shell--it's got some kind of space-age silver liner that's quite warm. The cell phone pocket came in handy on the slopes, too. Outside pockets feel a bit shallow--was disappointed I couldn't zip in a water bottle for the day of skiing. But overall, it's a nice jacket for the price, and I did get a few compliments from my girlfriends.

Comments: The small was very small through the hips. The medium fit better through the body but the sleeves were a bit long which was fine with me. The brown and turquiose combo is beautiful
