I almost said "too young," but the fabric, which has a texture more like a loose linen weave, and the print make the dress feel older and fussy. I considered removing the bow and keeping the dress, but decided it wasn't worth the price, even with Sierra TP's deep discount.

This dress does indeed have a flattering, pretty style well suited to formal summer parties and weddings, but so do many other dresses. What makes it rise above the norm is the drape and softness the wool challis lends. It was not an inexpensive dress even at the bargain price it is offered at here, but it is well worth every penny. I hope my colleagues like it as well as I do, because I can see I'll be wearing it to absolutely every official function I have to attend this spring!
