Felt great the first 2 days but started piling on the 3rd day. By the end of the trip I was looking for buying some other pair of pants for my next trip because they just look like a cat was meticulously trying to pull out every fiber from the thigh area.
I read another reviewer here experiencing piling with the gray pants. I'm not sure if the other colors have this problem. These pants are good looking and comfortable for casual use or car camping but they are definitely not meant for serious backpackers/hikers. Look elsewhere.

Tan pair had fly zipper break 3rd wear. Gray pair has pilled but wears ok. Black pair is great.

They were comfortable, kept mosquitoes off my legs, and light weight enough not to be hot during daytime. Average shorts and good pants at a fair price.
