I was deeply skeptical, but I was willing to try. I gave this shirt it's trial run here at home on a day when the temp and the humidity were both in the high 90s. I sweat profusely, and in a regular t-shirt, I would have soaked it in no time and would have had to hang it to dry. The Simms tee kept relatively dry, and when I went inside, it finished drying quickly rather than holding on to a clammy damp area down the chest and back. I was impressed. I can't vouch for the sun screen feature, though I didn't get burned. This shirt would be great for traveling with--hand wash it with a little Dr. Bronner's, hang it up, and it's dry and ready to wear again in no time.
