Keeps my feet warm in a San Fran Summer By She from San Francisco, CA on 06/19/2008 Pros: Easy On and Off, Good Traction Best Uses: Kayaking, Outrigger Canoeing Describe Yourself: Aggressive Rider Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I bought these boots to help my feet survive the cold winter training paddlers in the San Francisco Bay. Little did I know that summers by the Golden Gate Bridge are just as cold as in the winter time.
These boots are great. They give me the perfect traction for when I need to push off my feet to get a stroke in. The thickness of this neoprene is perfect for paddling out in the cold Pacific Ocean.
My only gripe is I have difficulty zipping these boots up. But haha could be because I have rather large calfs. Other than that these boots are a must have for your cold weather/NorCal paddling wardrobe.
