But the waist is huge. I usually fit a size 6 or 8. The waist on the 6 that I ordered is at least 2 inches too big.

They cover well in the back, WITH A BELT, and the material is very comfy. I have used these just like jeans. My kids wipe their muddy, grubby hands on these and they wash out very well. I have the lighter color and they even stand up to being bleached after having halibut slime all over them. These are GREAT pants!
