inside gaiters a little loose By ED from Roanoke, IL on 03/15/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The gaiters are supposed to draw shut to protect from snow around the boot. These seemed a little loose, will have to sew on some velcro myself to aid in tightness. A brand new product should be ready to go.

By Dan from Boulder, Co on 12/21/2007 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Ice Climbing, Ice fishing, Winter mountaineering Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Great garmet, mine is a size larger than usual so I can put them over my softshell pants when I'm belaying my ice-climbing partner. They are great whenever it's really cold and your are not moving much.
I bet they are awesome to use alone with a thin baselayer.
