I've been looking for Gore-tex (for waterproof) hardshell ski pants for a while. The fact that this was softshell, albeit gore-tex, made me hesitate, but I'm sold after several uses. 32" inseam is a tad too long for me - I normally wear 30-31" inseam for street clothes - but it drags only when I'm indoor without ski-boots. Street boots add enough height as well, so at least I don't drag to/from the parking lot. I actually like the fact that the gaiter can cover all the way down the boots.
Stretch material feels very comfortable. Haven't had any issue with waterproofness. Since it's a shell, I wear a thin layer underneath. Enough pockets. I'm glad I didn't get Koven pants - felt too stiff. It was expensive at a retail store, but this will last me a long time. You can't beat the combination of softshell and gore-tex.
Things that would've made it a 6-star for me - 31" inseam (my issue, not the pants) - lower price (I paid retail. Price here seems really good) - reinforced cuffs could be a bit bigger, no issues, though. I just ski sloppy.
Excellent pants, order up a size

Comments: These are excellent pants, I loved the slightly stretchy material. Construction seems top notch. Only problem is the slim fit. I have a 31.5 inch waist (over underwear) and the mediums were just too slim, had to send them back.
