I am planning to wear it this winter for many purposes. We need this kind of thing up north for ever-day wear. I like that it is wool and silk so it will breath. I am sorry that it was made in China however, and this makes me feel guilty. The top fits great but the bottoms were a little bit short for my tall frame.

By Matt from Newcastle, Australia on 07/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Running Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for cycling if you are cheap, don't want your clothes to stink after the sweat dries, and don't feel the need to look like a racer wannabe. They really don't stink anywhere near as bad as polypro after you've sweated in them. I wear it for cool commutes and throw a windbreaker over the top if it's a little colder. Bad points - the collar is kind of loose and feels like it would stretch easily. If you sweat like a pig (like me) it doesn't really soak up your sweat, kind of channels it down to your pants. The material is not terribly durable, I don't wear it mtn biking because I think branches and stuff would tear it pretty easily. Even so, a merino top for this price is a pretty sweet deal.
