Bad fit (neck and sleeve length)! By Loves the snow! from Ottawa on 12/22/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had one of these for the past eleven years (yep, you read me right), and it was perfect. Finally decided it was time to get some new ones. The fit on this one is very confused. I am a normal 190 lb. 5' 11" guy. The neck is too large (I don't have a pencil-neck). The sleeves are too short (I don't have orangutan arms). Further, the sleeves have the wacky cut-outs for your thumb so you can keep your sleeves tucked in your gloves. This would work if the sleeves were long enough to go the extra 2". As is, they're not even long enough at the normal wrist length. What happened?
By Bretzky from Telluride, CO on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] Product works well as a base or just to head out for some light fun with the kids or light exercise too.
By Chap from Derry New Hampshire on 11/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice and light-weight. Needed non-cotton clothing under jacket(s) for hiking. I'm heavy at 5'9" and 260 lbs so I get pretty moist under exertion. Length was fine. Hiking the New Hampshire 4000 footers over the next few years.
The material is the kind that catches easily on dry skin like hands in winter so you get that prickly sensation handling the cloth.
