Great jacket - exactly what I wanted By Snowshoer from Rhode Island on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Fits petite sizes, Great color, Has underarm vents, Lightweight, Warm, Wind Resistant Cons: Needs more inner pockets, Not Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Perfect for snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's hard to find good quality winter jackets, at a reasonable price, for petite sizes. Not only does this jacket fit me perfectly, it's from Outdoor Research. I also like the 3-in-1 system, which gives me a lot of flexibility for outdoor activities. I split my winters between Rhode Island, which requires less protection, and Vermont, which requires more, so this jacket serves both purposes.
The only cons: it's not waterproof, so if you get caught in a downpour, you will get wet (although it's more than sufficient for snow-sports). Also, the inner jacket doesn't have enough pockets - it could use an arm pocket for a phone/iPod and an inner pocket for sunglasses, ID, etc.
