Perfect for fall in Oregon By Sarah from Portland, OR on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Large adjustable hood, Lightweight, Lots of Pockets, nice style, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Daily wear in wet Oregon, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits comfortably over light sweaters for daily wear in Portland's typical 40-50 degree wet season. Love the shaped elbows and large hood, which accommodates a bike helmet, but also adjusts in the back for normal wear so it doesn't fall over your eyes. Love the soft shell fabric, and the interior lining keeps it from feeling "sticky" like many rain jackets and adds warmth. If you're between sizes, order larger: the M is just large enough for a 36" bust and 39" hips, but not roomy. The powder skirt is probably too tight for me ever to use, but it snaps out anyway. Main hand pockets would be a little more comfortable for me if they were positioned slightly lower, but I have long arms. This jacket was a great deal and seems like it will last a long time.
By reiles from Colorado on 10/29/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a beautiful jacket! The pomegranate color is very pretty and feminine. It's water resistant and great for wearing in cold, wet weather (over under layers). I'm a petite person and the XS jacket fits well--including the sleeve length, which is usually too long for me in many jackets/coats. I wear this for day hiking and traveling.
