I had no idea what size head I have - but I am exchanging it and buying a medium instead. The small (I am 5'5" and have a small frame, 120#) does fit but it's a bit tight - however perhaps this is preferred on a windy day. Will compare when the medium arrives.
Anyway, this is tailored very well and had a nice smooth profile and texture. It has a sweet little hibiscus (?) flower on the side, on the front of the hat which is subtle. It is soft and comfortable. I haven't used it yet, but am sure it will function perfectly. Very good craftsmanship.
