By Imaginary Friend from Enumclaw, WA on 11/20/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This has the potential to be a perfect spring skiing, or mild winter activty jacket. I didn't keep it so I cant tell you how warm it is, but it was very nice quality as you would expect from The nOrth Face. I liked the longer length of the body. It was a bit too 'swishy' material, like snowpants for my taste. Fine for skiing, but not for casual wear. It also had a weird seam across the elbow that I could feel inside the coat. Either the inside liner didn't go down that far to cover it, or I could still feel it through it. I think that was the deciding factor on returning it. That and the crazy neon strawberry color. I thought that went out in the 80's? Maybe it is perfect for visibility. but not for my complexion. In short, a potentially awesome jacket, in a funny color and a weird seam.
great, but didn't like cannon red By Jen from Richmond, VA on 08/13/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Color not as described Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cool Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was a very nice jacket, well constructed and warm, but I wasn't fond of the color, Cannon Red. I was under the impression it would be a fire engine red kind of color, but it is something of an orangish-pinkish-red, kind of like a strawberry orange smoothie, so I returned it.
