Now I find "Birko-Flor" has the advantage that they don't mind getting a little wet like leather or suede does, and they hold up as well & as long as leather. If you haven't tried Birkies it will be hard to get the right size right off the internet--try different sizes on in person somewhere until you get that "ahhh!"
