I bought these for my son so that he would have a sturdy sandal that he could just slip on. The only issue may be that these shoes are made wide. We ordered a narrow width and still had to adjust the straps to the tightest position.

They relieve my heel pain even better because they literally lift my heels a bit and take the pressure of my heels. Sounds strange but that is true and works for me. A little too wide for my medium slim feet but it doesn't bother me at all. More room to wiggle my toes like I am not wearing shoes!! And of course the STP's unbeatable price, I am coming back over and over again! These are the 9the pair of Birks I've purchased from them!! L-o-v-e them all.......and now I can't quite remember why I used to think Birks were so ugly, Ha!
