By creeper from Eastern Iowa on 03/08/2010 Cons: Not Durable, Unreliable Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After considerable effort we got it working. It stayed working for twelve hours. Then the outside temp disappeared and no amount of re-starting or new batteries helped. Started trying to contact LaCrosse yesterday. Other than form e-mails I've heard nothing and comments here don't make me hopeful that I will.
IT DOESN'T WORK WHEN IT GETS COLD By Temperature Man from Alexandria, VA on 02/19/2010 Pros: INSIDE THEMOMETER WORKS Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The outside thermometer only works to 20 degrees F which is worthless.
La Crosse Technology is very slow if at all willing to honor their warenty.
By pacamper from pa on 02/09/2010 Pros: Consistent Performance, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Casual User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Easy to setup. Outdoor temperature readings have been accurate to local weather stations readings.
