There was a time when the women’s clothing selection at Sierra Trading Post was limited to outdoor recreation. Women’s clothing customers would shop for waterproof jackets, wicking t-shirts and long underwear - all at closeout savings, and all representing prestigious brands like Marmot, Obermeyer, The North Face and Royal Robbins. Being the savvy, savings-driven shoppers that they were, women soon became some of our most loyal customers. And so we expanded our women’s clothing offerings to appeal to two groups: active women needing exercise and casual clothing to meet the demands of work and family... and discerning professional women wanting more sophisticated clothing.

Active women’s clothing from Sierra Trading Post runs the gamut from base layers to outerwear, camp shirts to casual Friday career clothing. Women’s clothing knows no season here, where down jackets from The North Face and fine wool sweaters from Woorich are as prevalent as Orvis women’s silk shirts and Sportif USA hiking shorts. Active women can shop for travel pants and exercise clothing, leather jackets and western wear... and everything in between.

More recently, we have added many new women’s clothing brands to appeal to the big city sophisticate... a more upscale shopper looking for great deals on women’s suits, dresses and evening wear from famous designer brands Donna Ricco, Cole Haan, Barry Bricken, Lafayette 148 and more.
