| Wickers started out as a fabric company, but in 1990 founder Anthony Mazzega saw an opportunity in the burgeoning performance undergarment market. But I love the material and the rest of the fit. So I took a deep breath and carefully trimmed off the elastic waist, hemmed the rough edge and folded it down to make a new casing. Slipped in a new piece of 1.25 inch wide elastic, stitched it into place and now they fit like a pair of biker pants - a little higher in the back for good coverage and 3 fingerwidths below my navel in the front. I LOVE 'em NOW!!!
