Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: These are great to get you to the stream but once there you are better off bare foot. As others have complained the rubber lugs defeat the felt and studs and though they will preserve the bottom of your drift boat they are horrible to wade in anything but sandy bottom stream beds. I will however say that they are adequate when fishing saltwater i.e. ledges and rocks. They require constant attention to placement of feat ensuring that the balls of your feet (where the felt and studs are) make contact with any possibly slippery surfaces. I have since modified mine by cutting about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch off of the rubber lugs and have found that this improves the boot immensely.

Pros:
Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Sits high in water, very manueverable, have had one for 6 years, never an issue with leaks. Has 3 bladders, takes a few min. to set up. I usually leave it inflated in the summer time and throw it in the back of my suburban. Looking to buy a new one this year for the wife!
