| Skirts weren’t the first clothing items Royal Robbins offered. Shortly after Royal Robbins was first envisioned by climbing partners Liz and Royal Robbins in Yosemite National Park, the new company only made functional outdoor clothing. The original Royal Robbins clothing line therefore did not include skirts, but rather rugged outdoor wear. Nonetheless, Royal Robbins has since expanded to offer a popular casual clothing line, including skirts. A Royal Robbins skirt is designed for an active woman to wear after a long day of adventure or on a day off from one. These breezy, beautiful skirts range from lightweight cotton summer cloth skirts to stain-repelling travel skirts, to accommodate every aspect of your life. |

But I'm glad I read the other reviews before ordering - I'm 5'3", 145 lbs and normally wear a size 10/10p. However, based on the reviews, I nervously ordered an 8 and it fit quite well - although the waist was STILL pretty large. That said, I'd rather have a garment a bit large than a bit tight, especially on a hot summer day and the skirt does look and feel good. The only real negative for me is that it really does need to be ironed after washing to look it's best and ironing is one of my least favorite chores!

This is a really nice skirt--very feminine, but it does run large. I had to send it back and get a smaller size and I'm still waiting on the exchange so I haven't worn it yet. I like the little buttons on the side. It seems great for a casual evening out for dinner.
