By Powder Hound from Salt Lake City, UT on 10/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Don't really have any Describe Yourself: Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love it, bought it for work mainly to wear under itchy sweaters and add a little flair where the collar and sleeves stick out. I bought a med and it fits perfect was expecting it to be a little loose so round up on your size.
By travelgal from Portland, OR on 10/03/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these. The shorts are too light of a fabric for hiking in my opinion, and though the size was OK, they were just unflatteringly cut.
By Freshtracks from Bozeman, MT on 09/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Foldable uppers, Good Footing, Perfect cut, Tough Material, Very Light Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These waders have a great fit and are unbelievably breathable. I do a lot of backcountry fishing, and they are perfect for it. You can hike upriver all day and not get too sweaty - and I sweat a lot! Fabric seems lighter than other waders, but so far it has held up admirably. They are also compact and light for backpacking purposes and they have a great fit. My favorite feature is the upper portion - from the waist up is a lightweight Gore-tex fabric similar to that of a ski jacket. It cuts a lot of unnecessary weight - how often are you really immersed in water up to your chest for any amount of time? It keeps you dry up top without the weight of a 5-ply fabric. And you can easily fold it down and tuck it in for shallower waters and on hot days. Also, nice Scholler gravel guards and warm booties. Perfect for the adventure fisherman who covers a lot of ground in a day.

Gotta Have it - don't think twice!! By Mike the modest outdoorsman from Cheyenne, WY on 09/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Looks AND Functions great, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Windy weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am from south Texas now stationed in Wyoming. I had never seen snow or needed a heavy coat until this year. I spent the first few weeks shivering and wondering what all this white stuff is on the ground. I MEAN THIS when i say it: This coat surpassed anything i could have expected! If it can keep me warm here it can keep you warm too.
By Jed from Denver, CO on 09/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, Nice Hood, Sheds Snow Well, Warm Cons: Hood can't be removed, Pit Zips Are Small Best Uses: Backcountry skiing, Cold Weather, Ice Climbing Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally don't like insulated jackets in the backcountry because they have less layering options, but I love this jacket. I sweat a lot and the jacket vents enough while still keeping me warm while hanging out on the mountain. Its a heavy for mountaineering use but it is great for long days on the mountain when you have a bed to sleep in that night. My go to jacket for days when I am using the lift.

Room to layer underneath, but not too big to wear alone in lighter weather. Great features, extremely strong material.
By horse gal from Morgan Hill on 09/02/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Washes Well Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: these cloudveil trail shorts are shorter than they appeared in the catalog. I love the material and the packability, but for a middle-aged woman, even in good shape, these trail shorts feel a bit skimpy.
