Bottom Line:

Comments: I have worked heavy construction for 40 years, I have been an avid hunter, hiker, Boy Scout leader on lots of hikes. I have worn Carolina Logger steel toe boots most of those years and found them the best overall for all of these conditions. I have tried other brands but they just don't feel as good or meet my needs as well.

Sizing:
Feels full size too big
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I normally wear size 12. Occasionally 11.5. In these the 11 was just right. It was the same with some other Carolina boots (Opanka), so everything of theirs may be oversized. That's the only reason I dinged it from 5 to 4 stars.

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments: These boots are extremely comfortable, supportive, protective, and look/feel great on the outside as well. I was particularly impressed with how little my feet sweat in them, even with temps in the 80s. I use them a lot for casual wear because they feel so good, so I care that they hold their finish pretty well. Any good black polish fixes scuffs/dings on the uppers -- dk.brown polish on the soles/welts. Feel great, but they don't have the tailored fit or heavy-duty shock absorption necessary for distance hiking, in which case the strength of being loose enough, to breathe well becomes a disadvantage.

Best Uses:
Day Hiking, Everyday
Describe Yourself:

Comments: I only gave them 4 stars because I really haven't had a chance to try them in wet conditions. I use them mostly for town boots, because of their looks; but I use them for light hiking also.

Great boot, comfortable, dry, easy sliding laces. I am back to buy another pair. Can't beat 'em!
Too bad another foot bed is not available as an accessory. The only things to go were the laces and the footbed.

Comments: I'm a tough customer. I needed a decent work boot, but I also like to wear boots out with jeans when with the wife. This pair is perfect. Doesn't feel like cinderblocks on your feet, but would stand up to some light to medium yard work (probably not the best for using a shovel, but everything else). Wish I had known about Carolina earlier, and I would buy these again. Please let us know what kind of issue this is: Profanity Wrong product Spam Duplicate Copyright violation Not a product review
