Victorinox

The original Victorinox Swiss Army pocket multi-tool made its debut in a small village in Switzerland on June 12, 1897. Today 34,000 knives and pocket tools bearing the distinctive Swiss cross logo leave the factory each day... ambassadors for Swiss ingenuity and legendary craftsmanship. Victorinox knives have orbited the earth with the Space Shuttle Crew and proven their worth on expeditions to the North Pole. In fact, the Victorinox commitment to excellence is evident in every facet of its product line... from precision watches (timepieces that reflect true artistry and smart engineering), to travel gear (recognized for its progressive styling and relevant functionality) to apparel (always attractive, practical to a fault, and flawlessly made).

This case carries ALL of my daily business materials. I was looking for a sturdy case that would stand up to daily use. I finally found it. Tried the cheap 'fake leather' ones and a real leather one. They didn't hold up. This one has.

Comments:
I treated myself to this luxury item. I've used soft sided bags for tolietries in past. SO this item is higher end. Went on two week RV trip. Carried tolietries, brushes, hair dryer, make-up, medications, etc. ALMOST too small for ALL the stuff. Beautiful quality and construction. The flap zippered compartments are small and in strange place, as you can't put anything in them that prevents flap from closing.

I make several two-day trips each month for work. As a carry-on bag, I prefer this bag over a rolling suit case. It is a very practical design and fits easily in the overhead compartment.

Victorinox Web Professional Wheeled Briefcase

Handsome but Heavy
By FL MamaVerified Purchaser from Fleming Island, FL on 6/11/2008
Pros:
Good Capacity, High Quality
Cons:
Poor pocket organization, Too heavy
Best Uses:
Serious Road Warrior
Describe Yourself:
Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical
Primary use:
Business
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Well-built and sturdy, but weighs a ton and pockets aren't intuitive and don't provide the "right" access. There's no good outside pocket for your ticket stub and ID (which I'm always stashing just at the last moment before going through security) and it's just not built for the "stuff" that at least I always seem to have-- the ipod, the quick makeup bag, snacks. It's capacious inside for files and laptop, but no good "other stuff" area. And I do need a bag that I can at least pick up and tote for short distances-- down the escalator, e.g. This bag weighs so much that, combined with my laptop and files, it's too heavy even for that.
