Simple but gets the job done. By Deoxyribose from Bethesda, MD on 08/19/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Overall good bag, seems sturdy. Wool is soft, trendy.
The bag packs a lot of space, which is good if you are used to carrying a lot of things with you, but bad if you don't have stuff to fill it with. Also, it does not have a separate compartment for a laptop, and you will need some kind of sleeve, but this is more of a multipurpose bag.
If they attached the laptop sleeve to the bag I would've given it five stars. However, only large timbuk2 bags fit 15.4" laptops, this medium has more than enough room for one.
By Christan the Consumer from Sacramento, CA on 08/18/2008 Pros: Good padding, Very adjustable Best Uses: Day trip, Diaper bag Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this for a diaper bag on a recent outing to San Francisco. It was very comfortable to wear trekking around the city on foot. The capicity isn't large by any means, but it's enough to hold a few diapers some food and a change of clothes. Plus, it's small enough that when the little one hits Kindergarten it would transition to a kid pack. Very durable!

I love it for day trips - it has plenty of room for all the extras like sunscreen and bug spray!

A very sturdy well-crafted bag, with lots of practical pockets and the choice of either shoulder or shorter strap. One of my favorite bags for both convenience and stylishness.

By Ms S from Australia on 08/14/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Weekend Trips, WORK Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this everyday for work. It is a well thought bag with pockets for your bits and pieces-it even has a lined pouch for your mobile phone. Materials and workmanship are first class. I would definitely buy more things made by Timbuk2-well worth the money.
Simple, durable pack for smaller humans By donnallama from portland, or on 08/13/2008 Pros: Fits small frame, Good padding, Two water bottle pockets, Very well constructed Best Uses: Daily use, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My recently-graduated daughter has used a small Timbuk2 messenger bag since the first grade. Now that my 8 year old will be biking to school, I was happy to find a Timbuk2 backpack that is not ridiculously big on her. They are very water resistant, smartly designed, with bombproof construction. It holds a regular 1" school binder plus a couple of smaller books and lunch. And two water bottle holders on the outside are great for day trips. Thinking about getting myself one!
By Pioneer Paul from Northampton, MA on 08/12/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, High Quality Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great sleeve. I use it day in and day out for my 13'' MacBook. Typical Timbuk2 quality. It will last longer than my computer. It is also a great price!
