Flashy, but for how long? By mdelaney from Northern Minnesota on 06/04/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Rodeo Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Trendy Bottom Line: Comments: the sizing on these belts is all messed up. I ordered a XS and a S for my daughter, and a medium and Lg for myself, with the intent of returning those that didn't fit. Well, the S and the M were the exact same size. Also, out of the 4 belts I had, three of them were missing a crystal or two. Since my daughter really liked the look of the belt, we took a rhinestone off of a belt we were returning and glued it onto the belt she wanted to keep. I kept the Lg for myself. It is a great looking belt, but we'll see how long it holds up. I would expect better quality with a belt in this price range - even if I did get it on sale. Can't really decide if I would recomment to a friend or not - guess I'll see if the rest of my stones stay on.
Flashy but not over the top By mdelaney from Northern Minnesota on 05/29/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Trendy Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I order the small and the medium and when I received them, although they were marked S and M, they were both exactly the same length. I reordered the large, and I think this one will work out for me. I also ordered the XS for my daughter who wears a size 3 or 5 jean, and she kept the S/M (both the same size). So, with the four belts that I have had in my hands, 2 of them have had stones missing! I am hoping that the 2 we kept will hold up. If not, maybe I'll glue them. I know this is a great price for this quality, but I also don't think the crystals should be falling out when you pay [$] for a belt. We'll see. I know that Sierra is very good about returning faulty merchandise.
By Lolo from Quincy on 05/14/2008 Cons: Bulky, Hard to center the buckle Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Sexy Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered an extra large and it barely goes around my hip hugger jeans (I wear a size 14). It is also difficult to get the opin of the buckle into the braid without it ending up looking off center. I'll wear it sometimes but I don't lovve it.
By Shop Girl from Epsom, NH on 05/14/2008 Cons: Low quality for price, Not good value Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Quality of leather is low--seems like particle board--almost fake. Overall seems to run small.
By dp2dive4 from ventura, ca on 04/12/2008 Cons: looks and feels cheap Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
By Tully from Montpelier, VA on 03/27/2008 Cons: Very wide and big buckle Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic, Functional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a belt for jeans. I should have gotten the ruler out to really know how wide the belt was...2 3/4 inches...This was not what I was looking for. Other than that, it would be cute to cinch up a dress or longer shirt or sweater.
By busymama from eugene, OR on 03/05/2008 Cons: Smaller than I thought Describe Yourself: Eclectic Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I read the other posts and ordered a large. I'm 115 lbs. and the belt was still small on me. I had to buckle near the end of the belt. Will be returning the belt. It is a beautiful belt however.
