Awesome Boots Best Price Anywhere! By AJ from Minneapolis, MN on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Don't Breathe Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots whenever I leave the house, they are comfy and look great. Only problem is they tend to not dry out that quick so if your feet sweat it might be a problem. Also they run kinda small I would order 1 size bigger than normal if you want easy entry and exit.
Recommended, but don't breathe By Eugene T, from New York City, NY on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use a pair of insulated Sorel Cold Mountain ZIP boots, when below 35 deg. F, for everyday biking. Pros: comfortable, easy entry & exit, good traction, lightweight, warm, waterproof. Cons: don't breathe and feet do sweat especially, when above 32 deg. F and humid. It seems they were designed for temperatures below 32 deg. F.
By dp from Wisconsin on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used them 3 times so far and they are warm and you can walk well in these boots.
By Wilderness Therapy Rocks from Boulder, CO on 03/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Gear Usage: Winter Backpacking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore this boot on a 6 day winter backpacking/snowshoeing trip and they kept my feet warm and cozy. I removed the liners each night and slept with them in my bag so they could dry (this helped immensely). The only thing that could be improved is the sole. I expected them to have a heftier sole with more traction. I slipped a little on the ice. Other than that they were perfect.
