By Iain from Florida on 08/07/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy To Clean, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: OK, so they are a little unstable, and take some getting used to. But they're lightweight, non-bulky, practical, and a bit funky. (I mean funky as a good thing ...)
Looks very useful for travel By Arequipa from Palo Alto, CA on 08/06/2008 Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy To Clean, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Picnic while traveling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The instructions are pretty useless - folding them the first time is challenging but you can work it out. A sense of humor helps. They will not lie completely flat again. However, the plastic is strong and easy to clean and we think the set will be very useful. We plan to use it to make the occasional light sandwich and fruit meal while traveling, both in the hotel and as we're out sightseeing. The mugs will be nice to use in the bathroom also as one wonders about the cleanliness of what you find there.

By Lazarus from Palo Alto, CA on 07/23/2008 Pros: Compact, Durable, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the perfect solution to backpacking dishes. They work wonderfully as a cutting board as well. They pack down into almost nothing, and are quite light for their size. The form factor for the bowl is pretty good - sturdy enough to hold liquids and wide enough for other fare.
Lightweight and effective By mattybeans from san francisco on 07/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These dishes, plates and cups were pretty useful-extremely light, and kind of fun (to put together). I went on a backpacking trip with some pros that used these, so I was a bit intrigued. They seem durable, are very easy to put together (after a brief bit of puzzlement), and were easy to clean. I didn't think of this before I bought them, but they handled boiling water well also. I think they're a good buy (although they must be pretty cheap to produce ;) and very useful.
