Comments: We have purchased 26 of these blinds for our house and we love how they look, both from the inside and the outside. However, they do not block the light at all. This is very disappointing and we wonder how effective they will be at blocking heat and cold.

Comments: We bought these for my toddler son's room. The are beautiful. The only complaint is that they don't block light as well as we had hoped. They are very thick though--definitely the thickest white romans we had seen--and diffuse the light nicely and keep the room cooler.

Cons:
The size was listed wrong
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: The size in the catalog said it was 64" wide by 72" long. The width was more like 34". This has happened to me before. Someone needs to proofread the ad before being published.

Comments: This roman shade is installed on an all-glass front door. It does its job of providing privacy and looks nice. It is not sheer enough to see out of during the day. The self-locking mechanism is a nice touch, as not all roman shades come this way. The only way it could be nicer is if it also had a sheer inner shade. Then we could raise the outer, privacy shade during the day, and still have some privacy during the day but be able to look out, then lower the outer shade at night when we need more privacy. It is only designed to be spot-cleaned. If you're handy and willing to take a chance, I think it wouldn't take much work to make it hand-washable in the sink or tub. The shade is attached to the header with hook-and-loop tape, and the cords are only attached with two knots at the bottom of the shade.

Comments: These are great thermal shades for blocking drafts. Very rich looking! Lighter color than I expected, but closer to what I really wanted!! No directions, so it's a little confusing as to how the brackets work, but they're fine once you put them up! Look great!
