By superkev22 from san jose, ca on 08/11/2008 Best Uses: Earthquake preparedness Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: There are a few useful emergency items in this pack, but overall, nothing too special about it. Ended up just stashing at home as insurance, in case some disaster happens.
By Kryzl from Wisconsin on 07/31/2008 Best Uses: Long Road Trips Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first one that I received did not work. The minutes were counted as seconds and no matter how hard I tried, I could not calibrate the compass. The second one I received wouldn't calibrate either. After messing with it for about an hour it magically calibrated on it's own and now it works great. If you can get it to work it is extremely useful and accurate.
By nette8 from denver, co on 07/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Griller Bottom Line: Comments: The light didn't work when received. I called the toll-free no. on the enclosed paperwork and the company (Lacrosse Technology) said it wasn't one of their products.

Received defective product/parts missing By Alex from Seattle area, Washington on 06/23/2008 Pros: Entertaining, Packs Easily Describe Yourself: Travel Frequently Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Your description above here is incorrect. The advertising from which I placed the order and the product packaging itself describes it as "6 in 1 Game Pack" and not "five classic games" in the description above. I had ordered one pack previously for myself and really liked it a lot. So I ordered two more to give as gifts to extended family members. One I just received was fine but the other is obviously defective and missing a major part--the cribbage set. I've mailed that defective 6-in-1 Game Pack back to you and am requesting a replacement that is whole. Also, I'm counting on you not charging extra for the additional trouble and shipment costs to return and receive a whole product!!! I'd like to rate your customer service on this when I see how this problem is resolved.
